My long term prediction (20-50 years) is that copyright will fail. The West is growing in population and economic vitality but to give them fair levels of power will weaken the Central Canadian elites. Quebec is losing population and most of the new immigrants have little desire to learn French, rather they prefer to take lessons in English.
